... Rain has been falling in Central Luzon and Ilocandia since last week, giving farmers hope that their crops would be saved from the effects of the dry spell. While the rains were not strong enough to increase water levels in reservoirs in these regions, it was more than enough to relieve crops hit by the dry spell....
