Very busy Monday at work...
This Monday, I woke up by 7:00 o'clock in the morning. I hadn't taken my breakfast coz I need to report earlier coz I have so much things to do in the office.
As usual my morning was very tight. I have done my report very fast for the meeting of the sales people in the afternoon. By lunch break I just let my back lie in my bed for a while to have some rest & to refresh myself.
In the afternoon again, work & work as usual. By 4:00pm, it's now time for me to have a one on one meeting with my boss to talk about the financial status of the company & end of the month sales projected.
By 6:00pm, I already went out from the office. Then we ate our dinner, after that I watch a movie by Mr. Denzel Washington entitled "Man on Fire". I can't stop myself to cry due to the very emotional scenes from that very touching movie. By 10:00pm, I went already in my room to sleep.

A Sunday rest with my familyﾉ
Itﾕs Sunday morning & I woke up by 9:00 am. Itﾕs good thing that Iﾕm home with my family in the province so Iﾕm like a princess coz all I would do is to relax & relax.
My mother had prepared already our breakfast & it taste so great. In the morning I just listen in the music and have some little conversation with my family coz I havenﾕt seen them for almost more than two weeks.
We ate lunch together & we watched T.V. At 5:00pm, we already ate our dinner coz me & my brother needs to go back to Manila by 6:00pm.
We arrived to Manila by 8:00pm, I found my board mates watching the final match in the basketball so I watch with them, too. By 10:00pm, I slept already.

Say bye to my friends who’s going back to their place in Bacolod…
Thursday again & my its my schedule for cooking. I woke up around 6:00 am & cooked rice; I then sauté the vegetables & fried the small fish given by my friend from Bacolod. By 7:30am I took a bath & prepare my self to work. The whole morning I do my usual work in the office.
Then I had a lunch meeting with our Sales Engineer in Visayas & Mindanao. We talked a lot of things with regards to our work & the future we had in the company. He’s like my big brother who always there to give me advises whatever problems I have.
Then by 1:30pm, I already say bye to him & to his wife coz they’ll be leaving going back to their place in Bacolod after of 4-day stay in Manila. While working in the office, by 5:00 pm I received a message from the couple that they already arrived to their place. They give lots of inspiring words. They really are my true friends.
After office work, I went to Crossing with my brother to buy powdered soap for my laundry & other stuff for my self. By 8:00pm, I started my laundry & I finished after 1 ½ hour. Then I rest for a while to prepare my self to watch the ending of my favourite telenovela entitled “Lovers in Paris”. This would be the last aired of my Paris in T.V. By 11:00pm I already go to my room & sleep.

A mini celebration while happily watching the basketball semi final match...
At 5:00 early in the morning, I already woke up coz my boss & our sales representative will leave for an emergency out of town business trip & with this reason I have to talk first with my boss to know her advises.
The whole morning I do my usual work. I am also receiving some client requests & complaints. I took over some of the job by my boss. By lunch break, I only ate a little coz I was really sleepy and all I only want is to sleep. At last I had slept for at least 30 minutes.
In the afternoon, by 3:00 pm, I went out with my co-employee to get the results of our X-ray. I also accompany him to undergo blood extraction for hepatitis test.
When came back to office, food were ready for eating. It's my other co-employees birthday so we had a little celebration for him.
By 6:00pm, my friend came to our place with her little & pretty baby boy. I was having lots of fun taking care at least for a while with my friend's baby. When almost some of our visitors left, we began watching to T.V.
We are waiting for the basketball semi final match in the PBA. Everybody in the house was watching while the boys drinking beer to be more enjoy. Luckily, our favourite team won. So everybody was happy. By 10:30 pm, I go to my room to prepare myself to sleep.

A whole day of non-stop medical mission....
Tuesday morning & I was three minutes late in reporting to the office coz I woke up late, too. I was very tired the last day that's why I haven't noticed that it's 7:30 in the morning already.
At 10:30am, all the staffs of our company including me went to our resident doctor to know the results of our medical test last Saturday. After that we ate our lunch together. Then we went to the clinic to have our X-ray examination.
By 3:00pm, we came back to the office. After an hour, I then accompany our sales representative based in Mindanao & Visayas to the specialist in St. Luke's Hospital. I have scheduled an appointment with the internal doctor for pulmonary medicine to have a second opinion for the special case of my co-employees.
We went there, together with his wife. We almost finish the diagnosis by 7:00pm, after that we went to Shangrila food court to have our dinner. I was hungry already so I ordered Sizzling Fish, one order of rice and lemonade for drinks.
We have great dinner. We able to talk lots of things, especially some of our concerns in the company. We have talk also our plans for the future. It's very seldom for them to visit Manila that why it's rare for me to have a very meaningful dinner with them. By 10:00pm, the couple brought me home at home first by taxi, after that they will go to the hotel they stayed in. I was very tired again. I would able to sleep by 11:30pm.

A Sunday rest at home…
9:00 o’clock in the morning, I woke up. Then I went to the kitchen to check if there’s anything that I can cook for a little experimentation he he. Inside the refrigerator I saw fried fish & vegetables.
I first cook rice while all of the people in the house were still asleep. Then, I started cooking the vegetables. Actually it was just a simple menu. After putting my secret ingredient, I then started to fry the fish in the pan. By 10:30am, we ate our breakfast & lunch at the same time.
By 12:00 noon, I slept till 2:00pm. Then I received a long distance call coming from U.S. from my long lost friend. We talked for almost an hour. Then by 3:00pm, I cleaned my room. After that I washed some of my clothes. Before 6:00pm I fixed myself coz I will go out with my friend’s grandma to attend a mass in the church just near our place.
We arrived the church by 6:30pm and mass ended after an hour. By 8:00pm we then ate our dinner. After eating, we watched basketball in the T.V. it was already a semi-finals competition. We were cheering for our different favourite team. Unfortunately, after stretching my vocal cords and almost losing my voice, my team lost the game. Anyways, it’s ok, there’s another match on Wednesday. By 10:00pm I already lied in my bed & sleep.

A day of medical check-up....
This Saturday was a different one coz our company assigned this day for our employee's medical check up. The check-up is to diagnose primary tuberculosis among the employees.
At 10:00 am we all arrived in the clinic of the private doctor. The doctor picked me as her first client among the group. She first interviewed me about my health history. After that, she injected a medicine to my left arm. According to the doctor I will comes back to her on Tuesday to know the result.
After our medical check-up, we all went to Jollibee somewhere here in the Edsa Central for our fast lunch. Then, we all came home. My other co-employees went home straight to their respective provinces while me I went straight in my home in Pasig.
I took the opportunity this Saturday for me to have a relaxing one. My relaxation actually is to stay home as comfortable as I could. I lied in bed while watching T.V.; I ate my merienda, which was only beside of me. At 6:00pm I cooked my simple dinner. Then I watched T.V. again. I could sleep by 12:00pm already.

A very uncomfortable day for me....
It's Thursday morning again. I woke 6:00 am to cook coz it's my schedule again. I was late of 4 minutes in reporting to office. The whole morning, I was too busy finding some files needed by my boss in reporting to client. When she's in or out, I am also her secretary thats why sometimes my accounting work have to sacrifice because she's always been calling me and asked me to this and to do that for her.
Then, while I am in the middle of my lunch, one Manila Water officer came to our place. Actually, my mood was not good since morning, but I guess that officer from Manila Water give me more reason to be not in my good mood. The officer told me that he would cut our water line. I then calmly talked to him till I found out that it was a mistake taken by Manila Water coz they haven't updated their records that we have paid already.
After that I haven't already finished my lunch coz I'm not in my good condition. So even if it was not 1:00 pm, I reported then already. I really am very busy doing almost everything in the office. But, at 4:00pm my best friends text me and invite me for dinner after office hours. Without hesitation, I agreed so we will meet at 6:30 pm. So I then finished my work.
Before 6:00 pm, I first cook a simple menu (Tinolang Manok) in the house for dinner of my other co-employees so that before I left everything in the house was settled.
I arrived in our meeting place by 6:50pm. My two best friends were there already. We then stayed in the Shangrila food court. We eat, talk, laugh & enjoy. It's good thing to know that my true friends were always there to cheer me up after my very uncomfortable day. I arrived to my house by 10:30 pm and slept by 12:00 pm.

Avery busy day as a officer in chargeﾉ
My boss went out for 3 day out of town business trip. In this case, I was assigned to take in charged with the operation of our company. In the morning, I asked every worker for a spontaneous meeting about the new imposed policy of the office.
Actually, the meeting was very light coz everybody had the right to speak out and ask questions. I just glad that I could able to answer whatever questions they had. We finish before lunch, so I have now the chance to do some accounting work.
By lunch break I helped my brother (itﾕs his schedule) in cooking. We almost finished our lunch 15 minutes before 1:00 pm thatﾕs why I havenﾕt sleep that time.
I reported again in the office by 1:00pm to be exact. At 2:00 pm I went to the bank to ask them to do Managerﾕs Check as our payment in the business permit.
By 3:00 pm, I went bank again in the office, itﾕs our break time too, and thatﾕs why when I was out I took the opportunity to buy a merienda for all. By 6:00 pm, I already finished my work. My head was terrible aching, so I let myself sleep up to 9:00 pm and by this time I cleaned my self & ate my dinner. Then I watched T.V. particularly my favourite show in Paris. I would able to sleep by 11:30pm.

Doing laundry after workﾉ
I woke up early this day. My morning was good enough to start my day right.
In the morning, I made lots of memorandum and necessary papers for the documentation of each policy of our company.
When lunchtime came, I immediately finish my lunch so that I could take a nap. At exactly 1:00pm, I reported again in the office. I continue doing those stuffs needed for the final policy.
At 6:00 pm, I went out already in the office. I was hungry, thatﾕs why though itﾕs not my schedule in cooking, I helped the person in charged in cooking so that we could eat earlier.
After we ate, I rest for a while, and then I already prepare my clothes for laundry together with my brother. We started at 7:30 pm and we finished at 10:30 pm. I was very very tired. Then I let myself to sleep by 11:00pm.

A different job I have to perform & plan ahead for me…
I received a message from my boss, telling that we have a general meeting at 10:00am. So, I have to inform all of the employees to attend. Exactly with the agreed time, we started.
During the meeting, I wrote the minutes of the meeting. At the meeting, she also announced & confirmed to all that I am now a department manager. Though I already knew it two weeks ago, I haven’t tell anyone about my promotion coz I don’t want them to see me arrogant.
I more prefer if my boss would tell them at once and she did. At that moment, I don’t know what to feel. I can’t even look into their eyes straight coz I’m shy. But at the same time, I’m happy coz they accepted me.
After the general meeting, my co-employees required me to treat them merienda and I can’t refuse to them. After the merienda, I have now a one on one meeting with my boss. The meeting was really stressful. She then, gave the tasks I must do. Our meeting let me realized that I have to be tougher specially in making decisions.
She informed me about her plans for me. But she then told me that I have to prove to her that her plans are really fit for me. We almost finished talking at 10:00 o’clock in the evening. When I lied in my bed, I can’t sleep. I think lots things. Until I end up praying to God to help me to do my best without hurting other people.

Meeting with my Boss…
I woke up early this morning coz as usual its Thursday again & it’s my schedule again to cook. I had finished all my household tasks early so I was not late in reporting to office.
I started working then, at 10:00 am my Filipina boss came and called an urgent meeting with me and with our sales supervisor. We our meeting was ended at 3:00 pm already.
We were very hungry, so I just called up to Chowking for delivery of our lunch. After we ate, I came back again to work. Truly, I was tired, so I just let my work stop at 6:00pm. I could not any longer afford to have some overtime.
When I arrived home, I cooked our menu for dinner. Though, I was tired from work, cooking really helped me to lessen my stresses. Then, after we ate, I washed my dishes & cleaned my self to prepare for sleeping time at that was 10:00 pm.

A very tiring day in a week...
At 7:00 am, I woke up then, I took a bath & fixed my self. Exactly 8:00 am I reported to work. Before I started, I gave myself a prayer so that my whole day would be better & because my Filipina boss will be coming this day from her long vacation in Bicol.
So, I would expect her to give me lots of assignments & work. The whole morning I've been so busy preparing & computing the payroll to be given to each employee by tomorrow. I had finished that before lunch break came.
At 12:35pm my boss came together with her ugly & monster husband. When she arrived, she already called me in her room & just like what I expect, she then gave me the necessary reports she needed for her meeting with the sales department this coming Monday. She wants me also to give her some points & opinions about her newly imposed policy & regulations in the company.
So after that, I came back to work. I haven't noticed about the time coz I'm very much serious on what I'm doing. I had finished working by 9:30 pm. Truly, I'm very very tired, my neck & my back were aching specially my stomach. I was too hungry. So, I ate then I would go to sleep.

Feeling like a mother of a little girlﾉ
At 8:00 am I reported in the office. As usual Iﾕm still alone there coz my partner was still absent. Anyways, here I am again & again, doing all the necessary reports of year 2004 so that I could already close all the accounts.
By 9:00 am, my boss called up & she requested me if I can bring her daughter to the hospital coz her little baby was seriously sick. So by 10:00 am, I just settle my things, then I brought the little girl in the paediatrician.
Actually, sheﾕs truly sick she had an acute otitis (medical term), she was crying while she undergoes check-up. She felt pity for herself. I felt pity also for her coz I knew that she want her mother to be beside her.
But her mother was too busy, up to the point that she could not take care of her daughter. I felt sad for the little girl coz at her age she was always feels alone & always lonely. Iﾕm have realized that Iﾕm so lucky coz I have a very caring & supporting mother, that whenever I was sick or not, my mother is always there for me.
So, after I had bought all her medicine, we went home already. I prepared all her medicine accordingly so that itﾕs easy for me to give her every time. At 2:00 pm, I came back to my work. I had finish some of them by 6:30 pm.
Then, I went outside to have a dinner meeting with the three nice men. Actually, it was our second meeting but I could say that I truly have a great time talking with those intellectual men. During our conversation, I donﾕt know if they knew, but Iﾕm observing them, and I really have learned a lot of things from them. They were all different, I mean personality wise, but what good thing about them, which I really like was, they were all honest.
When I arrived home, I just immediately clean my self then I go to my bed. I really am very sleepy coz I think Iﾕm a little drunk already. But its cool, I could now sleep sweetly.

My usual Monday working tasks…
It’s Monday again & time to work. It’s hard for me to woke up coz the atmosphere was very cold. At 7:30 am I stood up from my bed, I hurriedly fixed my self. I report in the office at 8:15am to be exact. After that, I work & work & work.
My partner in the office was absent due to sickness so I’m alone again. I received a non-stop calls from the clients. Luckily, at the time of 10:00am our sales representative came to help me answer the phone calls, while, I can now concentrate my accounting jobs.
After our lunch, I took a nap again. I then, work again after my good sleep. I had finished my work effectively. I go home at exactly 6:00 pm. Actually, my usual job was taken properly. The only thing that happen was, I’m so so hungry. So when I came home, I eat as much as I could.

Enjoying my rest day with my twin soulﾉ
Itﾕs a beautiful Sunday morning. At the time of 7:30 am, I woke up already. When I went outside in our veranda, I saw that Mr. Sun shines proudly. Though, Iﾕm not really a coffee drinker, Mr. Happy Sun invited me to do so.
After feeling the great morning, I did some exercise by cleaning our house a little. I groomed and wiped the floor. Then, I decided to wash my clothes, bed sheets & other stuffs. I finished my laundry at 12:00 pm already.
I heard my hand phone ringing; itﾕs my best friend, my twin soul. She said that she was already waiting for me for lunch. She stayed in Sta. Mesa that is about 30 minutes travel from my place.
We had an agreement that we will go & hop to enjoy our rest day. So, she already demanded me to fix my self faster. I immediately took a bath. At exactly 1:00pm, I was already riding a jeep going to my best friendﾕs place.
When I arrived, our lunch menu was already prepared. So without hesitation, we ate together. We were very very hungry thatﾕs we finished the food for only 15 minutes time. After that we just took some rest.
At 4:00 pm we left her home to attend a mass in the church nearby. After that, ha ha we went to SM Centerpoint in Sta. Mesa. Actually, we want to watch a movie there but it seems that the schedule is not fit to us. So we went to SM Megamall to have some food trip.
We stayed in the food court where we always eat. We bought pizza with spaghetti & ice tea. We talk & talk & talk. We talk everything that we could talk under the sun. We have lots of fun. We talk about our friends, our family, our work, our problems and even our zero love life. We talk about our future. About having a business and a good family beside us. Itﾕs been so great feeling that I have a great friend, a sister that is very beautiful and simple girl.

A happy dinner with my love one…
It’s Thursday again. This day, I’m assign to cook, wash the dishes & a little cleaning. I woke up as early as 6:00 am. Then, I started cooking. After doing all the housing chores, I fixed myself. I was late in reporting to office. The whole morning, I was too busy. I’m still doing my accounting works coz the audit season is upcoming so I need to prepare necessary financial statements.
Then lunch break came. I ate then, to refresh my mind, I took a nap for a while. Then, I reported again for the afternoon works. During that time, I checked all the records of each employees of our company whether they were still working or not. And those who still exist, I asked them to complete their records. I asked one by one to comply with the requirements so that there would no problem in the future.
After office works, I prepare myself again coz I have a date at last. I would be with my brother; he wants to treat me for dinner that he can provide coz he knows that I was promoted. Luckily, he has money coz I don’t have that. We ate in the most famous food store in the country, Jollibee.
Then we arrived home at 9:00pm. My dinner with my brother really helped me to at least lessen the stress I got from my problems in the family & work. I’m so lucky that I have a very good looking & a very kind-hearted bother, just the same as me ha ha.

A surprise I received in my workﾉ
Itﾕs Wednesday and I just came from a bad condition few days ago. This morning, Iﾕm checking myself, coz I had mixed of flu, colds & coughﾉ My God! It was so hard. I could hardly speak, too. I reported in the office almost late already, I was also absent yesterday thatﾕs why when I enter into my office room, I knew the fact that the whole day would be a very busy one for me.
And, Iﾕm correct, in the morning I had received lots of email from my boss in Singapore. So the whole morning, though Iﾕm still sleepy, Iﾕve done the reports they requested.
Then lunch break came. I rested for a while. In the afternoon when I go back to work, I received a call from my Filipina boss (sheﾕs in Bicol for a long vacation), and she told me that she has surprise for me. She told me that I was promoted. I am now the head in our finance & admin department. Actually, she already told me that there was a plan for me to be promoted.
She just confirmed everything to me & that the management decision was final. I was so happy then, my sick feelings were suddenly gone. I feel much better afterwards. Of course she also told me that my salary would be increase, too. I feel happier after hearing that.
I can now at least start to do my plans for my family & for myself. My boss also told me that she has more plans for me. Iﾕm happy that some of my hardships in my company have now been noticed. Actually, Iﾕm not expecting too much. I would still stick with my perception. I will just work properly & efficiently. I just want to have comfortable & happy life. Whatever rewards I received, I would be contended and thankful.

My HOPE this New Year…
It’s the first Monday of the year. Wooh! What this day had been to me. New year was not that happy for me. Sometimes I’m wondering why things wont happened the way you plan. Actually I have so many plans for my family and for myself. I am a very positive person. But this beginning of the year makes me hopeless. Yesterday, I had a subtle fight with my father (he’s getting better nowadays).
Actually, my relationship with my father before was not good. We always tend to have some arguments coz I really don’t like his policy. Before, he was a full pledge alcohol drinker and that was the reason why he got sick. We always argue coz he’s not actually doing his part as a father.
He’s nice to other people but not to his family. I am now doing the responsibility that he should do for our family. When he got sick, we (his family) did everything to make him well. We were the one who was whole-heartedly took care of him. We forgot the misunderstanding that we had before. But as days and weeks passed by, I noticed that when my father gets better his usual treatment to us before is happening again.
I saw him shouting to my mother. He treated my mother as his housemaid. I terribly got mad. We again had arguments. Actually, I’m not feeling well since last Thursday. I have cough, colds and flu. But I almost forgot that I am sick due to our dialogue. I want to fight for my beloved mother. I love my father, too. But his action was not acceptable. Sacrifice is enough. I must be strong this time. I cry no more. That’s why this morning when I went to work; I work as hard as I can. I was assigned to tell our two employees that they were already terminated.
Without hesitation, I could able to deliver the words that I should speak to them. I would able to decide as tough as I could. The whole morning I made my Filipina boss to be impressed with me coz I had done my every work effectively. If only she knew, that my strength this time was deepened because of the things that happening to our small home.
Sometimes, I am asking myself too, “Am I a bad daughter?” But this thinking would not help me. I won’t be thinking negative thoughts; I still want to believe that behind the strong typhoon is a rainbow. I know there is HOPE waiting for me.
